It actually speaks volumes when people miss the fact that it's a parody entirely.
I still laugh whenever I see the scene where Micheal Ironside says,"They sucked his brains out."
Knocked up... 8/10 really really funny.... I was quite surprised.
Ratatoulie 7/10 funny...but not pixars best. They just dont do "people" well enough yet...the rats are done really well though.

A lot of people would say it's a bad idea, on your first day out of prison, to go right back to stalking the tranny hooker that knocked out five of your teeth. But that's how I roll..

Knocked up 7/10
at first it seems like just another guy/girl comedy/romance that feels the space between good movie releases, but it's actually very fresh in writing and ideas. It has this real feel to it, not in the sense of "ohh it could happen" but more like so true to life, some might find it boring.

Surfs up took my 4 year old cousin to see this last weekend. For anyone above the age of 10ish, it's a 2/10 or so. Few decent parts, and John Heder's character is decently funny. That's about it.
Also saw Shrek 3 last weekend. 6/10 Pretty decent movie, better than the second...not as good as the fist of course.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - 5/10
I was expecting more out of this movie. I really was.
The Invisible Woman killed the movie for me since she had makeup plastered on her face in every single scene no matter what was happening.
Doom isn't really as badass as he could have been.
Mr. Fanastic turns out to be a total loser.
Not enough smashing beat-em-up action from the Thing.
Human Torch goes through some inferiority complex issues that are like a subplot of the movie. Lame.
It gets +2 points for being Fantastic Four.
+3 because the Silver Surfer was just so damn cool.

Deep Rising = 1/10 - Why do I keep watching these pieces of shit that I know are pieces of shit before I press play?
There was only ONE good scene in the whole movie (which lasted 4 seconds)...and that was when the mercs fired their assault rifles for the first time. Their reaction (and subsequent action) was priceless. Other than that...this was a horrible Aliens-style knockoff.
