Mind you, I'm running everything maxed at 1920x1200 with no slowdown at all.
The only difference between this and most xbox360 titles graphically as far as I'm concerned is the complete lack of OTT bloom effects.
Not really a bad thing to be honest.
And as for the netcode, I've had it crap out on me a couple of times, but other than that it's been incredibly smooth.
The only thing I don't like about QW's network implementation is the in-game server browser, which just flat out lies about server populations. But that can be remedied with ASE...

I am happy I waited 5 years before I bought my new PC last week. The prices are lot cheaper then they used to be, for the processor, hdd, ram, video cards, everything. 120FPS here I come

mien is capped at 60, and wasent the only way to uncap the fps in D3 was to run the game in Developer mode?Silicone_Milk wrote:I believe the command to show the fps was com_showfps 1 or com_drawfps 1
Does anybody know the command to unlock the max fps? It looks like I'm capped at 30 fps because no matter what video settings I have it on it stays stuck on there.
I'm running two 7300GT 128MB DDR3 32bit cards, a AMD 64 X2 4200+ processor, and 2 gigs of ram. I have the video settings on the highest I can put them at 1024x768 (yeah I could go higher but I just like that resolution) and have 8x antialiasing going on and still running buttery smooth at 30fps.
I'm still curious as to what I can max the fps out to though on normal settings.
