Clicked NO on "Save login details"..

Post by reefsurfer »

My isp makes me login on their homepage to connect to the internet(if the pc have been turned off fore more than 30 minutes) everytime i start up my pc.

But after my fresh install of new os and everything i accidently pressed NO when IE asked me to save login details on my isp homepage... so every day now i have to put in my login details(username and password)manual in order to connect to the internet.

Is there away to undo my "NO" choice?

first dump IE for Firefox ..the password manager is way better and so is the browzer.

dump your isp as well and get a better one ... a few sentences and i hate them already.

play around with

click on when IE is open or use the control panel internet options
internet options
click
content
manually reset the settings for passowrds etc..

make you you have cookies enabled .. this may help?

Well, its a hazzel to change isp and the deal is good.. 8mbit broadband.

I used to use Firefox/mozilla and i love them... but i want to keep it clean and to the minimum.

Checked the internet options and content...dident find that manual reset button.

some routers have that 'keep alive' option. maybe that would work.

1. tools | internet options
2. content tab
3. autocomplte button
4. check the prompt me to save passwords guy
5. if that doesnt work... hit clear forms then clear passwords
that will reset autocomplte to factory stock.

(to prematurely defend myself; i only know this because i worked for an ISP for 3 years, not because i use IE)
