what are your thoughts on chuck vs wanderlei? (and jackson vs henderson)?
The boys from Chute Boxe are going to tear UFC to shreds. Wanderlei and Shogun I believe will be able to take out anyone from UFC. Although they both used a lot of SUPRISE FACE STOMP, which can't be done in UFC. I still have confidence in them!
I'm pretty sure Dana White, along with most of the hardcore fan base, want knees to the head of a grounded fighter. I think it's only a matter of time before the Nevada athletic state commission evolves its policies and allows em.
but yea, stomps and soccer kicks are intense. I love the way shogun transitions from his stomps into a high mount position with hammer strikes.
I don't think so, Dana White believes that a single death in MMA would destroy everything, and he's not going to take any risks with that. Notice how fights get stopped sooner and sooner?
A reporter mentioned that the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board might be interested in legalizing knees to the head on the ground in MMA, and asked if White thinks the Nevada State Athletic Commission would follow suit if that were to happen. White said, "Probably, because it was New Jersey that didn't want knees to the head before." White has previously stated on multiple occasions that he would personally like to see knees to the head on the ground legalized in MMA.
i can do without stomps (the force multiplier effect of the head against the ground presents a danger), but knees to the head of a grounded opponent are a must, imo.
Don't really have an opinion on elbows - haven't really watched much ufc so don't have much (spectating) experience with them.

You obviously haven't watched much Muay Thai either.
