Good for small arm tactics, but lacks the capabilities of a rifle. It is a good idea though.

The US military has something like it in a rifle version (however, it has no hinge or bend ability); camera mounted on top of the gun, feeding a helmet mounted eye piece (HUD). Very effective in urban warfare for looking around corners without getting shot in the head or hand.
