Marie-antoinette , not so bad but I definetly prefered Lost In Translation.

The 25th hour one of the best films ever imo, even if I never went to NYC, but I will, very moving and Norton is really good..

And btw I'm testing if my account works :icon32:

The Illusionist - 8/10, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Even though it seemed to drag on a bit, I didn't mind by the time I'd finished it.

The Prestige - 6/10. This could have been a great movie if it were 45 minutes shorter.

300 - 6/10

Visually very faithful to the comic which is great, but I don't understand why they had to add all that flag-waving "SUPPORT THE TROOPS" bullshit, and all that talk about "freedom" in every other line of dialogue that wasn't there in the comic. It would have been 7/10 sans the political agenda.

It was also highly homoerotic, so I guess it will probably be a big hit in the right wing gay community.

Lost Highway.
I tried...god knows I tried.
Heh, took a look at what the cunts at imdb had to say about it and, not surprisingly, they desperately try to make sense out of it.

Also, 300.
What a crock of shit.
Looks awful, CGI making everything look flat, and not a second did I give a shit about how those spartan fags would fare.

As a visual experience, 300 was the BOMB, better even than Sin City I think.

So you downloaded a shitty dvd-rip and watched on your crappy computer monitor?

Because when I saw it at the theatre the effects looked pretty damn good to me. I was especially impressed by the use of color and how they managed to keep the intensity of the lighting so comic-like throughout every scene.

Smokin Aces:
Linkage
Lots of blood, guts, gore, veins hanging from the teeth kind of movie. Great graphics the story line lost me a few times.

Finished curse of the golden flower.

Good, but a your typical Chinese dynasty kung-fu drama with lots of betrayal, honor, etc...Still, it had good cinematography, scenery, very well acted (I'm always impressed by how well the actors convey a range of emotions with their facial expressions in movies I watch with subtitles - can't stand to watch those flicks with the voiceovers on.)

I'd give it an 8/10 - but its SLOOOW for awhile.

yea they are both in it...dunno if they've been in anything else together or not.

But someone named Li Gong is in it and she looks pretty damn good.

Good flick. Not enough violence though
