He is serious, they are damn close to a ps2 graphic wise, and GT4 mobile is supposed to be dead on to the ps2 version.

yeah jug, KOS doesnt know what he missed. The original twisted metal is what made my buy a ps1 in the first place. I played the hell outta that game, then Twisted metal 2 came out, and I played the hell outta that game too. Then Single trac gave up on the series, and 3, and 4 were totally gay. I think 989 studios did them. But then when the ps2 came out, I saw twisted metal black(wich kicks serious ass) was coming out, made by single trac(now incog inc) and I knew it was gonna be good. So that made me buy a ps2. Now a hand held twisted metal made me want a psp. So yes, I love the twisted metal series. Except for the gay NON twisted metal 3, and 4.

The button closest to the screen (square?) is supposed to be unresponsive.

My square button responds quite well.

Now I will most likely not actually use the headphone much Juggernaut, but when I do I will use the same ones as I do with my iPod, they are black Sony in-ear headphones

From what I have heard the PSP is supposed to be as powerful as the Dreamcast

No problems here with the square button. I thought they fixed that problem anyway. I just cant get over how badass this is for a handheld. Aight, going back for more.

The graphics look nothing like the PS2s in terms of quality, texture resolution, resolution or depth.

The screen is nice, but the graphics processor is nowhere near the PS2.

The graphics are better than the PS1.

Yep.

Resolution is nowhere near (obviously), depth of scene is much lower overall, framerate is lower, textures are less detailed.

The PSPs graphics are amazing for a handheld, but to claim they are 'as good as the PS2' is laughable.

For a start, if they WERE as good as a PS2, that would mean Sony could do much better than the PS2 in a console form-factor.

Handhelds will not match up to consoles, consoles will not match up to PCs. This is a truth that has held solidly throughout.

An example. This is the new need for speed on the PSP:

This is NFS underground (1, so not the latest) on the PS2:

BTW, I'll grab a PS2 for sure if/when rockstar release a grand theft for it, or any other big free roaming affair comes out.. That'll rock.

GTA: SA made me buy a PS2 :D

like i said, to me they look close. but i am used to playing my ps2 on a 60" Mitsu also, which doesn't look quite as sharp as a smaller tube teli.

Well the PSP does not look as great at new PS2 games, but I think it does look as good as first generation PS2 games. I still say games look the best on the X-Box

Of course they can. You have to remember the PS2 was released ~3+ years ago.

How are the ergonomics of the controls?
The analog stick is so far down, it looks like it would be difficult to use it and hold the controller together.
