I have a real funny/dummy adventure of my own about an elevator.

The tallest buiding in Montreal at the time was 47 floors.
I was a rep at 20YO and never went to a building that tall.
On the top of it, there is a bar/restaurant I wanted to go after
I finished my day.

I was on the 2nd floor alone in the elevator. I press the button 747,
something like that, that's how they call that floor.

In my three piece suit with my briefcase...I wait like 3 mnts thinking
thinking it was a long ride to the top, Till the doors opened and someone entered from the same floor I had embarked in it.

All that time I was on the same floor.

I still laugh at myself when I use elevators.

mythbusters already busted that one. iirc, a human couldn't jump with enough strength to get the right amount of speed for a successful "launch".

You must be talking about Club 737 on the top floor of the building.

I heard the best thing to do is lie flat on the ground... try and absorb most of the shock over a large surface area..? You're still fucked either way though especially if it's a drop from the 50th floor.

"f*cked" is mildly close.
