Six Dead in Minnesota School Shooting
I'd say that America's regrettable tendency to shoot its' democratically elected president is evidence of a gun problem.Nightshade wrote:Well, I won't debate the fact that guns are perhaps too readily accessible, and there should be laws in place to make it more difficult to get one. Gun shows, for example, are where the freaks that shot up Columbine got theirs. But, IIRC, they had someone buy them.

I've been reading some books regarding the 1930s in American history and it's no surprise about the gun problem at all.
Back then, people like Dillinger, Machine Gun Kelly, The Barker Gang and other "outlaws"were shooting guns all the time. Alot of the times killing people who simply got in their way. The US public in this time began to support these people as "crusaders" against the crooked banks who put alot of people on the street during the Depression....completely ignoring the fact that regular joes were getting slaughtered or kidnapped by them frequently. Hell..there were female fans crying at Dillinger's funeral....a person I'd consider a complete psycho.
Guns are a large part of American history. They've killed each other for centuries. It ain't ever gonna change....until Iran and N.Korea get their ICBMs ready.

So fucking naive man, so fucking naive.
Always expecting change when I know nothing ever changes.
I've seen mothers choose their man over their own flesh and blood, I've seen others choose alocohol over friendship.
I sacrifice no more for others, part of me has fucking died and I hate this shit.
I'm living every mans nightmare and that single fact alone is kicking my ass, I really must be fucking worthless. This place never changes, it never will. Fuck it all.
