It features Multitouch technology; you know, that crazy touchscreen stuff as seen here.

I hate mobiles usually, but this is one sexy piece of tech...

i hope it comes with a cleaning cloth.

Yeah common sense until the reports start trickling in a year after it's out. Most drunk people at parties don't have teh sense.

From BBC news:
In a move set to shake the telephone industry, Apple confirmed that The iSheep will come with 5 free "bleat tones", with the option of expanding to millions more via the iBleat website (price TBC, but expected to be around $2 with necessary DRM protection to avoid counter-bleats).

"Our userbase expects more" commented Steve Jobs. "As long as they keep giving us money, we will give them exactly that: more faulty hardware, suspect after sales support and the legendary Apple overcharging which we have become renowned for." he added.

The iSheep is expected to be released shortly. Intensive promotional campaigns featuring midget pole dancers silhouetted against mentalist red and green lazer lights has already begun airing in the United States.

"It has never been a better time to be a sheep. Join the bleatalution!" added Jobs.

So what are they going to call it, since Linksys already has the name iPhone trademarked?

anyone notice this...

go to apple.com and view the 'breakthrough internet device' walk-through. Notice when it goes to nytimes.com the headline is 'democrats take control of congress' and the pic of Nancy Pelosi. Guess what district she represents? San Francisco. Where is macworld? San Francisco....

Very tricky folks they got working in marketing at them there apple.

Yeah but considering that a phone is the biggest electronic fashion accessory to most there's going to be a surge of people carrying theirs everywhere.

Sure there is - people don't go out of their way to steal your car keys.
My buddy had his iPod stolen out of his truck a few weeks after he got it, right out in front of the house. I assume somebody had seen him leave it in there a lot, because nothing else was taken and it was out of sight.
There was a flurry of iPod thefts after they came out, because they were in such high demand. I'm sure the phones will be just as popular, and opportunistic crooks will take full advantage of it.

It says "exclusive" and "multi-year" contract in the article there.
Be nice, some people can't read

but my main point is that you have to be a moron to get one of these stolen from you unless you're mugged. plain and simple.

It started when people decided they didn't want to carry a music player, camera and a phone when they go out...

laff at the first comment on that site; typical example of people whose only concern is aesthetics.
Reminds me of some of my coworkers. :olo: :dork:
