and with the language you literaly say it as you see it

Welsh is not the first language of Wales. A massive majority of Welsh people only speak English and there is nobody left in Wales that only speaks Welsh. Almost all the media in Wales is in English and the only place where Welsh competes (artificially) equally with English is on official documents and road signs.
Sad but true.
sorry, was very bold in that statement
i said 'pretty much', all do have to be bi-lingual with english aswell to get by
the proportion of english speakers to welsh is higher because the majority of the population of wales is in the south, which is mainly english speaking. mid wales doesnt hold enough population to hold any significant impact but north and west wales even go as far as protesting against the south because of our high number of english speakers
but yea, more and more welsh people are using english as there 1st language but at the same time the number of welsh speakers is increasing
and the news being in english n shit ?
theres a load of welsh speaking radio stations aswell as s4c#
youd probaly find that the amount of asians using there language as there 1st language in wales outnumbers both the english and the welsh speakers :P
in conclusion
"meh"
edit: who's alt are you anyway ?
