Its more to do with the fact you have to be retarded to buy a core system, full stop. Because you know in a months time your gonna be buying the damn headset, HDD and wireless pad anyway...
well i'd rather have a cheap version of the core (like the amazon 100$ dealie from recently) and wait for the 60gb upgrade. that thing has to be around the corner seeing as the video service just launched. 20gb is shite for storying anything, esp. when they take a big chunk of that space for reserved bs. ;s
it's not so bad if you don't care about a wireless pad, or the headset, and wanna wait to upgrade to a bigger hdd (it'll cost you less in the long run than getting teh premium me thinks).
If you get the core and get the stuff that the premium has later that is going to cost you $210 on top of the $300 for the core system for a total of $510.
I bought the core, back when there was a shortage...it was the only system i could get my hands on. But yeah...Ive bought HD cables, memory card, then a HDD, 2 wireless controllers, and 2 headsets since then...rofl.
