225 omg! good work.

My best was 295. 2 plates + a 35 on each side.

If I tried that today I'd be stuck forever.

Key is - what is your bodyweight?

I think I was about 185 pounds when I hit 295 on the bench. Back then I had goals of doubling my bodyweight on the bench, but with my long fucking arms that would have been an impossibility. I think right now I might be able to bench the bar plus a couple 5 pound plates and maybe clamps. on a smith machine, with the bar zero'd.

I ok and can max 225 at around 5 reps, but I'm not very bulky either @ 160-155.

I'm 176lbs, 6'1".

The guy I train with is 173lbs 5'8" and he benches 3 plates (315) for about 3 reps. He does 2 plates x 10 reps easy.
