This system is the death of SCEA. Nobody wants this piece of shit.

When XBox came out, nobody really wanted it but at least it became the "Halo TV Adapter."

PS3 has only one interesting title, Metal Gear Solid 4. Is that even a launch title?

Wii, on the other hand... Marvelous system.

If the nextgen console war is World War II, then the PS3 is France. Big, with plenty of power, but no guts, and in the end will go mostly ignored.

There is a guy in Stump Town *Portland, Oregon* paying people 200 dollars to stand in line at the local BB to buy for him. Was going to post the link but can't find it *sigh* Rain from here thru Friday he may have to raise his pay if this keeps up

Theres 50 some people outside of the bestbuy here, and about the same at b oth walmarts, as well as target, toys r us, kmart.

Not a single one outside of my gamestop tho.. Been telling those fucking assholes they wernt getting one from us unless they preordered. And its true.

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting involving people waiting in line for a video game.

Dozens of people camped out in front the Best Buy store on Nicholasville Road. They're hoping to get their hands on a Sony PlayStation 3 console. But the wait turned serious when someone drove by and fired shots at people waiting in line.

Four people were hit by the BB pellets, including 27 NEWSFIRST reporter Elizabeth Dorsett. She was interviewing someone in line at the time. None of them were seriously hurt.

Police came to the store to investigate. They're still looking for a suspect.
Lexington Police say they'll stay at the Best Buy to make sure people in line stay safe.

The PlayStation 3 goes on sale Friday morning at eight. The consoles are selling for more than $600 a piece.

btw japanese auction sites are already seeing a high supply of ps3s which in turn forces most people to sell theirs at retail prices and sometimes even a bit lower.

there was a guy who baught it, and he took it out of the package.. placed it in his room/dorm or whatever, and went with the CARDBORD box that the thing came in, went to people that where sitting in lines and etc Waiting for the store to open then proceded to Toss the box on the ground and drop kick it and etc

And if i remember correctly, there is a dude that ran for the box and grabbed it.

it was kinda funny.... kinda.
