If you don't actually have to be able to spawn into the level to be considered for the prize, I'll give you a broken link. That should send your head into many spins and I'll win because I caused you much anguish and pain.

Do I win?

How about a pk3 with all sorts of viruses pack in it. When you try to run it, it eats your hard drive.

Yes, rgoer is right, Seremtan, that map is disqualified. Other maps are welcome however.

Question. Does it have to be able to run bots?

no, but it might be nice to have completely incompetent bots in it for extra horror-factor.

:D ....that should actually rank pretty high in a 'worst map' comp! Being disqualified - wow, so bad it wasn't even judged.

Bad maps aren't that hard. All bad maps are concept maps, regardless of the game. Some 14 yo had the thought "HeY WuDnT iT bE k00L 2 HaV TeH plaYEr iN a MaZe WiHt LAvA trApD00rZZZ OMFG ROFL LOL!!!111" then combined that concept with having the aesthetic sensibility of a duck, and presto.

To truly make a bad map, to make a person scream with horror as he gets his first glimpse of the map, falling off his chair in utter fear. After several minutes of calming himself down, he dares a second glimpse and slowly touches the mouse, turning around, the sight that awaits him are horrible, but he can handle seeing it. The map bugs then drive him mad with anger! He smashes his keyboard because of the non-working staircase and the elevator going in the wrong direction! Finally, after so much agitation, he bashes his head against the wall until the front of his brain has been turned to mush, and he falls down dead.

Mates, this is the point of mapping.
