I don't know if it's loneliness or love or missing you guys (girls included in that) but I feel I must say Hello and

reveal my previous identity in this thread of more love.

I stopped posting cause the forums had degenrated into a flamefest and mishmash of nasty looking pictures and

also cause I didn't want to post anonymously any more, I wanted to be able to take credit for my work.

Finally you are being nice to each other and showing some love, rather than jostling about bullying each other

for the heck of it. I'm guessing that kind of stuff still goes on in The Void, but this was posted here in General

Discussion.

I feel this is dangerous cause there was a lot of hating going on before, but I feel I must say Hello. (IRL kind of

dangerous, I don't want people coming hassling me IRL.)

Call it paranoia if you will, but I was always concerned that everything I ever did on the internet could be

traced back and used against me in some way, by hackers. Why would they bother? Cause they were flamers

and loved to cause trouble for people, especially those they didn't like or hated.

With this place run by hackers, and having a fixed IP, I used proxy servers for a bit (man this is starting to read

like a confession -btw why's it "olo" now where it used to be "lol" for the smilie activation?), since I got

broadband. That was for quite a while. Then I stopped posting like I said. I came back under this nickname

cause I still wanted to be part of the forums but as a mod maker, where I could take credit for my work, rather

than as an anonymous entity as I had always been.

So, I always used to want to stay anonymous, cause it was the internet and I viewed that as dangerous, and

still do to some extent - I'm still not going to put my namd and/or addres in anywhere unless I am going to get

credit for it somehow down the line, as in for credits for some mod I made.

I was good at Q3A for some time when I had my old mousepad and had had broadband for some time. I was

good at 1v1 OSP. Now that mousepad has worn out and the replacement is no good. I need a new mouse and

mousepad really. I want to try them out before I buy them though and I don't know of any place that allows

that. I could try phoning up PC World and asking if they allow that I suppose (I don't like making those kind of

phone calls, maybe I don't like using the phone much at all.)

So now I would have trouble beating a bot. I can't beat Nightmare Crash with this mousepad; I just play some

baseq3 CTF sometimes and sometimes FFA.

I listen to internet radio stations quite a bit. Paxahau mostly.

I play GTA2 online still sometimes, now there's a GTA2 Game Finder called GTA2 Game Hunter. The server seems

to be down at the moment though. I use the nickname Rumbler on there at the moment, say hi and that you're

from Q3W if you see me on there.

I used to say "hey is anyone here from Q3W?" on Q3A servers sometimes and people wouldn't know what it

was. So I doubt I'll see anyone from Q3W on GTA2 Game Hunter.

I play on Kaillera sometimes, as Guy Z-ism at the moment. Maybe I'll see you on there sometime? I use Kawaks

usually.

Man, this is turning into a "what I do" post; I just thought I should say a bit more about myself.

I do more offline now, I'm doing an Art A-level, which isn't going very well, and figurative sculpture in a one day

a week class, which isn't easy as a beginner.

I hope to maybe make Citadel Miniatures when I'm good at sculpture, but I don't know about the wearing of

magnifying glasses, I don't know if I'd want to do that. Maybe I could use just one big magnifying glass, one of

those rectangular ones on an arm thing, hinged arm thing. Anyway the sculpture class could help for when I

come to do 3D stuff on computer.

My Art A-level is to work towards getting on an animation course. There don't seem to be animation courses

below degree level. There are some Flash and other program couses, short courses, but no actual full-on

animation courses.

I saw a program that showed someone sculpting on computer with a speacial new tool, a new input device that

was like sculpting on the computer. That was someone who does those sculptures based on the skulls of

archaeology, putting all the muscle on to the skull, so it was pretty accurate stuff. They use it for criminal stuff

aswell, I think. I think they said that they do.

So I could be using one of those tools in the future maybe doing sculpture on computer; who knows.

Animation, though, that's something, I really want to make stuff move.

So, how are you guys, what have you been up to?

I noticed Geoff is back; he was always talked about but never showed up cause he was always banned.

Actually I replied to one of his topics a while back, saying I scratched records cause he was asking what people

do apart from use their computers. I don't scratch records much at the moment, but enough about me for a bit,

Geoff used to post mostly in the R&R forum I gathered.

R&R eh, I thought of maybe going by The Void and posting a Hello, it's me, topic (not called that, just that kind

of topic), to see how it went. Now love in GD? It was always so hating. That's what drove me away. I liked the

place, a lot, but it had gone down hill. There was always R&R spilling over into it.

Maybe I'm just better at ignoring the overspill now.

Anyway, it's good to see some love in here. Makes a nice change. And it prompted me to say Hello and

introduce myself properly, so it's a good thing, I guess.
