I heard the greatest telemarketing prank ever on Bob and Tom.

The marketer calls, and the guy answers the phone pretending he is a police officer. He proceeds to ask questions like

Ohh, nevermind, Chunk's ytmnd page just finished loading, and I see that's exactly the one I'm talking about.

BEST. ONE. EVER. :olo:

oh god I'm peeing my pants from laughing here.
I wish I had the balls and the creativity to do something like that you know, but I'd probably start laughing about it myself while doing it

I say "sure" but they never expect to actually have a serious, rational discussion...so after about 5 rapid fire questions from me (which they never have an answer for) they usually just politely excuse themselves and leave me alone.
I love doing shit like that, what are the 5 or so questions you ask?

thank fuck i am not alone. the other day someone called me about monitering hollywood movies, i then proceeded to tell them that i moniter these movies on a monitor. so after a while they wanted to come to my house and moniter these movies with me. but i told them politely that i can only moniter these movies by myself because my monitor is very small, which ofcourse makes monitering movies rather tedious.
