They could, but they wouldn't be able to mask the signature picked up on seismology equipment around the globe. A nuclear explosion develops quite differently to a 'conventional' detonation.

they could have faked the seismic readings by having everyone in the country jump up and down at the same time.
No reason to get snippy, I was being sarcastic replying to Foo.

Besides, even if they were trying to bluff, they could produce a half-kiloton explosion with conventional weapons couldn't they? I don't recall specifying a unified people-hop. :p
i wasn't being snippy, i was just trying to be funny.

Suicide is Painless. by Johnny Mandel.

its a play on words since the camp dentist (nicknamed Painless) has a deathwish, and Pierce & Trapper fake his death in a rather elaborate way.

stop talking out your nuts ur not convincing anyone with a ounce of knowledge
military technology has little effect on occupation. Its nearly impossible to prevent homos that hide among the population to do cheap shot attacks that either kill themselves or they can easily hide back within the population. The actual war of iraq was over before it started as we took out what little hard targets there were. The iraqi army didnt even try to put up an organized resistance and disappeared when we arrived in iraq.

That was sort of a running gag though wasn't it? I can recall an episode dedicated entirely to that annoying habbit of his. :)

theres another one that builds on the same concept; where BJ and Pierce pretend to be mad at eachother for Winchesters bday.

theres also an episode where BJ gets annoyed by Pierce's bitterly upset last word habit and challenges him not to crack jokes for a day.

he makes it, but at 12.01 am he picks up the PA and starts flaming everybody. pwnt

*note. i have seen the entire series from start to finish at least 7 times :(
