Here ya go. Not as sharp at that size though. The original is 1600x1200.

Don't take this wrong, but I'd hate to see what you could do with a real camera

Shot these for the university newspaper, would like some C&C. The lighting in the gym is awful. The first 4 were done with the 85 @ f/1.8 and 1/500th (manual mode), the last one was done with the 70-200 @ f/2.8 and 1/250th (manual mode), all at iso 1600. I really need a 50 f/1.4 for the shots where they aren't at the hoop, I'll get one next year since I don't have an extra $300 right now.

1. Get closer (a lot closer)
2. Get faces
3. Crop after getting closer

Otherwise they look ok.

Oh and watch your horizions too unless it makes sense to tilt the photo

Alright, I'll try a different style today by using the 70-200 @ 200mm to get some close-ups, cheers.

Once you get comfortable you'll start going where they told you not to go... A face, a ball, and some conflict. That's all you really need.

Oh, my other criticism is that you never moved the entire time you were there... Move or if you can't give the impression that you moved.

woah, what lens did you use for that one? The lighting seems to be good in the gym you're shooting at.

I don't know if I'd call it a gym

That one's much better... Since you want C&C, the guy going up is still missing a face, but if the other dude is the subject then you got him pretty well. I assume you're shooting for the yellow teams.
