Estimate the total time you spend driving/riding/walking to school/work each day round trip.

Thanks to my new apartment my total drive is 25 minutes plus 5-10 if I go out for lunch.

~12 minutes each way, so that's a 24 minute round-trip commute. Lunch is a different story, because it depends on if I have stuff here, or if I go home, or if I just head across the street to grab some fast food.

By right mine should only take 10 mins or less by car.
My trip consists of 2 60mph roads, the first is a narrow mountainside road and the other is a bypass.

But, everyday on both roads im guaranteed the usual cunts who wont go over 40 (30 sometimes) and/or dumpster lorrys/buses who will not put their foot down.

I can honestly say I dont speed (sometimes), but I was taught to drive at the national speed limit on high speed roads :icon33:

The US average is 25.1 minutes each way:

I'm 6.5 miles from work and it usually takes about 10 - 13 minutes to drive it, each way, depending on the lights and traffic.

Hah. I do ~3.5 and bike it in that time. Get off your ass and exercise. ;)

school max of 5 min bike ride one way trip, min of 2-3 min (depending on which class it is)

work, max of 40-45 min bike ride one way, min of 20 min (depending on where I meet a student)

I think I've used public transportation once or twice in the last year.

10 to 45mins, depending on traffic and who i have to pick up on the way in.

if we didn't liftshare then i'd ride a pushbike (which would take about 10 mins).

That's a pretty long bike ride. You do it in the rain/snow?

About 15 minutes each way give or take a couple of minutes stuck behind people who won't go 60mph on 60mph roads.

On placement it was 40 mins each way... bar the time it snowed and the whole city came to a standstill, yeah that took 5 hours to get home. I got out of my car and took a piss on the side of the road about 3 hours in. I'm classy like that.

I used to have a drive like that. When traffic was bad it would take up to 3 hours one way. I wanted to commit sepuko on my shifter.

40 minutes roundtrip by bike

70 minutes roundtrip by bus

About 40min on foot.
About 15 min on bike.

It takes longer to drive than it does to bike.

I would take twice the time here in Rotterdam with the car during normal hours. So much traffic and lack of parking spaces
