Kick was great. Played it a lot. Even made two maps for it that were never released.

The ball skin Eraser made was also pretty cool. The default ball is very hard to see in some maps so he made a bright red/blue/green beachball

if you like kickquake you should try ProBall for Quake 3 (if you haven't already). It's a sort of American Football type game (without Q3's weapons) where strategy and teamplay is very important.

Kick was probably my favorite Q2 mod, outside of Threewave CTF. I used to play it on LANs all the time, and as a matter of fact still have some demos from that time.

Action Quake 2 = Best Q2 Mod ever IMHO. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many nights staying up playing that back in the day...
