The Rock Says...
Is it? Never saw it here.
I bet they made the style of the movie different from DOOM 3 because if the movie does insanely good at the box office, they can make a DOOM: THE MOVIE: THE GAME (Hopefully called just that.)
It wouldn't be the first video game The Rock has been in. I'm still undefeated after 5 years at Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64.

here's a gem.

Sorry Rock...since anybody who has read comics can see how Tobey fit well enough. File this under "The Rock is Trolling for a Superhero Role". Still, it's a nice manly man perspective.Abstract of a NY Post article wrote:
Wrestler-turned-movie star DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON has attacked Hollywood's latest batch of action stars for being too weak and slim to carry off believable performances.
The SCORPION KING star struggles to comprehend why movie bosses picked TOBEY MAGUIRE to play SPIDER-MAN, and urges studios to choose more physically impressive actors for superhero roles in future.
He tells website PAGESIX.COM, "Men find an action hero believable if they say, 'Wow, I believe this guy can really kick some fucking ass, mine included.'
"I loved Spider-Man, but I'm not too sure Tobey Maguire could kick a lot of people's asses."
