phpbb is good but I like mybb more, it's very easy to setup and work is like phpbb. Has less exploits too and is not targeted by hackers because it's fairly new.

Theres a Template folder in the forum folder.. just unzip them and FTP them in folders to there.. then add with the admin panel..

i especially love the way that because phpbb is constructed better than a lot of php software, it's very easy to make modifications and whatnot.
