download the BEta drivers from Nvidia's site, they are IDENTICAL as those ones, but that SLI Bug is fixed..

and yes, it annoyed the shit out of me as well!

Hmm, I got that too but I think it was with the beta 93.31 or something drivers. I don't remember if the 91.31 caused that balloon with my 6600GT, I'll have to check when I get back.


EDIT: Amidy, I don't think you can overclock those beta drivers :p

so it isnt just me then. good to know ( i think ).

disabling it in the registry.. that sounds a bit severe :smirk: hopefully theyll release fixed drivers soon, because its quite annoying to say the least

Well, not really, but I wouldn't advise it if you're not comfortable. It's not that annoying anyways, just a little balloon in the taskbar. It's best to just wait :icon25:

well the registry file is downloadable from nvidia.com so i guess itll be allright :)
still doesnt fix the systray icon from reappearing though

ever since i installed 91.31 my PC will crash when closing a game (i.e. UT2K4 or even Q3A) when i have hammer open. so have to close it if i want to play, which is a fucking huge pain since hammer takes ages to load a decent-sized map like the one i'm working on

damn you nVidia!

*shakes fist at nVidia gods in the sky*

i get the stupid SLI balloon as well

good news is: i just ordered a 7600GS (AGP), so that should be fun
