I;m glad they use that detailed age verification tactic to prevent minors from getting in....I wonder if any 13 year old has ever gotten stuck there...thinking, "Fuck..if only I were born in 1975 I could choose that option and see what was in here." Although, it appears that if you choose your original date and are under 18, it doens't let you go back in right away even if you change the date...so I guess it is bulletproof after all..heh.
I remember playing old Leisure Suit Larry games in the mid-late 80s..and the adult check was a series of trivia questions they figured only adults would know. If you got them all right, you played at the "TOtally raunchiest level" which meant more pixellated nudity in the glorious 16 colors (out of a palette of 64 I think) that my Tandy graphics adapter produced....

thats actually what i was thinking as well.Suave wrote:As much as this game will probably get laughed at, that trailor was incredible.
no way its going to look that good on a console, which is probably the market its aimed at.
at anyrate... at least the video was nicely done, and even if its complete crap, hiphop fans will at least get a good soundtrack.
Halo 2?dzjepp wrote:This game's going to be shit, as are all others that don't show off any in-game footage in trailers.
Oh let's produce a bunch of 1600x1200 screenshots to impress the web nerds, because the Xbox can do that, you know!
99.9% of every screenshot you see comes from a devkit and most use the highest resolution textures that typically do not ship with the game, as well as being rendered on a devkit computer. PS2 is notorious for screenshots and clips that look high quality, but in fact are just as jaggy and computerized looking as a PS1 game.
