On most torrents your upload speed will be dependence on the speed you get on your download.

If you choke your upload you will most certainly get a shitty download speed.. but ofcourse it also depends on how many your downloading from and what upload they have it set to.

Grab a torrent that has maybe 40-50 ppl seeding it and set your upload to around 30-50 and wait half an hour until all connections are set... you will get a good speed.

I had a few download problems before but since I switched to Azureus a year or so ago it's been smooth sailing. :D

My previous ISP blocked the default Bittorrent ports so I got real crap speeds until I configured Azureus to use different ports. You could try doing that.

now that its less mainstream and you actually have to put a very small ammount of effort into things... it seems to have cleaned out the leeching whores who were clogging up the pipe.

Well I signed up on 3 torrent sites and the speed I get there is just incredible. At every new release I get 400kb/sec download.

Remember kids, uploading at full speeds will saturate your download speeds.

On good seeded torrents i upload at 5k and download at max to what my connection can take, which is a meer 120k
