Searching around quickly, this article reckons you cannot run dual monitors unless you disable SLi mode on it (which I guess would leave you with 7900GT sort of performance).
Another reason to get the 7900 GTS instead.

You may be right.

I have one thanks but I don't see the need to brag it up here. You might want to consider taking your own advice 1st Sergeant Gramps.

I play battlefield 2 on an average of 1.08 hours per day. I'm sure that qualifies me for needing a life. :olo:

Especially when I may play twice a week for 2 or 3 hours and the rest of the week I do real life things.

Good job Inspector Nerdso. You've successfully dug up some really incriminating information and pointed out that I play a video game occasionally. What's even more shocking is that we're all posting on a gaming message board.

Let me know when you get that life....

I've done some looking around and you have to disable SLi to use both monitors with the 7950. I wonder if Nvidia is ever going to develop a fully compatible driver?

Nah theres games that can use them. Hell some HL2 mods can tax a 7800GTX like nobodys buisness.
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I thought his question was more along the lines of what games require a card like that. I'm sure you can crank the resolution up all the way on most of the latest games and drag the frame rates of the top cards under 60.

Nah im not talking 2056 res or anything. stuff like 1280x1024, 1440x900. shit like that. You know, average resolutions.

And honestly, source engine with resolution, it never seemed to drag a card down THAT much going nuts on res.. *shrug

I'm talking about in game settings that increase the resolution of the game. Like setting all the affects to max, turning up AA all the way and turning up the display settings, ect.

"etc" is the correct spelling anyways since it's a shortening of 'etcetera'.
