q3 'epic' contest

Post by scraper »

Chi:

"It was time for a new contest at levelsource, here it is! This time it should be an epic map. I hope you'll like it :)
The goal of this contest is to create an ‘epic’ map. It should be huge, original and with a visually-overwhelming environment.
You want to sign up or read more about the contest, look here"

Nice. I'm gonna sign up...but no guarantees that I'll actually finish anything.

Where's hipshot? His levels always turn out amazingly detailed and epic.

Yea, hipshot's tech map is the kind of epic we'are talking about here. Like how he had those massive skyscrapers crashing over his little map. That was cool.

Yeah dude, that map was awesome... except for the fact that it was completely unplayable! :D An absolute INSANE amount of detail.

The shortest time he?s ever taken to build a map was 1 day. The longest is 3.5 years (and counting) for his CTF Tempest Utopia. It is said that should he ever complete this map, the dead will rise from their tombs, and Enemy Territory will be released as a free standalone download. No, wait!...AAAAGH!
