Whats the quickest anyone has downloaded off bit torrent...
I seem to be stuck doin no more than 80k a sec...

i cant upload more than 30k a sec due to my DSL
connection, u think that would have summat 2 do with it?

280K here, my upload was capped at 16K at the time. (half of my limit at the time)

35kb upload here... Azureus set at 30kb. If the torrents hot I manage to get up to 200kb (my dl limit).

Use a high range port like 5xxxx (I use 53657)

maxing out your upload will kill your download on most connections.

limit your upload to 80% of your max.

maxed my connection a few times at 406K
if you dotn have many seeds it wont go as fast... and that speed was with no ups, to see how fast it would go

Cap your UL to around 28kb and it may speed it up abit.

Download 4gig atm.

my download limit 800kb... happens rarely though, when im on the swedish torrent sites im between 200 and 600kb.. europe etc im usally downloading around 15-80kb.
