Yeah, never completed it though. Quite good, although very slow to get going.
Also, regarding character development and classes, you're pretty much stuck with a set group.
But interesting combat, and a pretty strong story, with a suitably epic feel do redeem it.

I played that ages ago.
I kept having the feeling that I was almost to the good part...but never got there.
