Official 2006 World Cup Thread

Post by seremtan »

i can't believe no one's made one yet

today's fixtures:

Germany v Costa Rica @ 1700 BST
Poland v Ecuador @ 2000 BST

and for laughs, the predictions of the MOTD team:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 020068.stm

btw can a mod add a 'who will win the world cup?' poll to this thread, with choices of argentina, brazil, england, germany, italy or 'none of the above'?

let's make it a world cup thread to remember :icon31:

I hope the US beats the Czechs on monday, otherwise its going to be a very quick exit for us. once we lose, however, I'll be cheering for england and enjoying all the mini bets I'll make on the various other games (over under on any of the togo games will be fun)

anyone streaming the audio feed?
I'm at work and can't exactly watch a TV.
The BBC are being bastards this year and restricting their feed to UK only. :(
