not worth it atm SoM, may upgrade to Vista through Dell when they offer it in the future

The funny thing about the "nagulator" is that there's irritating pop-ups coming out of the task bar all the time anyway (just try plugging a USB2 device into a USB1 port if you want to discover the true meaning of irritation). One more won't make much difference.

i'm not genuine. Should probably buy it anyways, maybe i'll do it tomorrow, i can get winxp 64bit for cheap anyways. Or should i just wait for Vista?

oh, just a quick question. I do have a x64 cpu ( AMD64 X2 ), will i immediately benifit from switching to the 64bit OS? Or is it really a big diff right now?

Nah, that's another one. See also the popups to let you know your wireless signal strength has gone from HIGH to NOT-QUITE-AS-HIGH-BUT-NOT-REALLY-LOW-AS-SUCH.
