I'm so sorry Splishsplash. I'm hoping it's not definite and there's something the doctors can do to help him.

*********

As for telling people here about it--for myself, when I suffered a loss, I wanted to tell the world and I wanted the comfort of what was known to me. Maybe it was a sharing of pain thing. I dunno.

All the same, it's a hard thing to have to deal with and my heart goes out to your Dad, you and your family. :tear:

Look back and find the comment. I don't want to paraphrase someone else's words.

Found it. Yeah, raw was spot on. But then I've been saying basically the same thing for a long time. Anyway, I reckon there should be a separate politics forum here, how about that?
Call it 'bush and iraq discussion'.

sorry splishsplash, I've lost a few members of my family to cancer, and it's hard to deal with.

All I can say is good luck to him. I've met quite a few terminal patients at the hospital. It's a tough time talking to them, but frankly they are probably the best natured folk at the hospital.

All the best to your family.

Get a second opinion, and a full checkup yourself in case its genetic or enviromental.

I am very sorry to hear of this sorrowful news. I hope that he recovers from this ailment despite how bad the situation seems. However, you should take comfort in the fact that if he does pass away he no longer has to worry about the impending shit storm in respect to international politics and the collapse of the American economy.
