Seeing every fuckwit on this board typing END OF TEST everytime I post something is pretty fucking funny shit, but I guess you don't see that.

heh, hear my HP story

i bought a shitty HP PC for cheap, because it was in a clearence sale (190quid)

so after 2 months i get bored of it, phone up HP and tell them that theres a fault which happens randomly (pretended to be a complete PC nub)

anyway, they loose my PC... i was DEVASTATED but fear not, because i was calling them thieving cunts over the phone

after a week of arguing they agreed to send me a new PC as a replacement (1100 bucks, apparently this was the model which replaced mine)

so i wait, and wait some more

nothing

i phone them, they go "o shit, sorry, we'll send it straight away"

so the nxt day my PC comes, i was EXCITED, i was like woah, how quick ?

then.... another 2 weeks later, a box turns up

so, i was slightly confused, left it sealed just incase they wanted it back

then a lil while later another box turns up

so i open them both up and notice that ones the same PC as the one they already sent me

and the other one is the old one i sent back to them

so im like 'what the holy cunting fuck'

i phone DHL, they tell me that its ok for me to keep them... phone HP, they havnt got me on record

so, i sold the other 2 for 900 quid and the last one is laying under the bed in pieces :D

edit: it turned out DHL had my PC all along, they lost it in some warehouse or someshit....

Ok Jackal, here's how you get your computer back. Do almost nothing.

Seriously though all you have to do is call em up and tell em what happened, you'll either get yours back or you'll get a new one. If you say you had irreplaceable stuff on the pc that might not be a bad idea too so you can get some extra goodies from em. That's what I'd do anyway. Anything they can't disprove.

But yeah I used to get calls from people who'd lose shit all the time and then get two of something in the mail we'd always tell em to just keep it and not tell anyone. Nothing we could do about it anyway who the fuck cares. They barely make any money on that crap anyway the money is all in the accessories that go with that shit. they WANTyou to have it so you buy their shit, even if they have to GIVE it to you. Retarded but it's the truth.

I stopped reading after this, you seem to be a major retard...

Anyway, I suggest you call and email. Keep all your conversations logged etc.

Pft, it's too easy ek, all people had to do was talk to me. If you talk to the right person, one push of a button and all is solved.

See...If you bought your HP from the Kracus Bar Sales Network that very laptop that was stolen from you would have been offered to you now (or at least NOW if you were fool enough to have actually have met that c_mafia clown IRL)

Now I see where that extra $5 a beer is going !

Maybe, I always gave some people a hard time if I didn't like the tone of their voice.

And you can laugh at that all you want it's the truth. Getting pissed off at someone on the other end of a phone who you are depending on to hit the right buttons is the WRONG way to approach that situation.

UPDATE: I don't even know what to say about this. I just spoke with HP and they said that someone at UPS released some information about my order that was not supposed to be released and that they believe someone at UPS stole my laptop. Time to get the police involved I suspect.

DOn't let them hand you off, if you sent it UPS, prove they delivered it, you got it to HP, the only reason UPS would need to get you involved is if one it never arrived, or 2 if HP shipped it back and was stolen.

This is something you should find out easily by the tracking number, if HP sent it UPS and it's lost HP owes you money not UPS. If it got stolen on it's way to HP, UPS owes you money.. as long as you insured it properly.. :icon28: But I'd look at the tracking numbers and see where it went missing in the chain, if it was on the way there it's between you and UPS, if it's between HP and UPS it's up to HP to fix the situation. No issues there, it's pretty clear.

See that's the problem. I no longer even have a tracking number.
Somewhere along the line HP decided to seperate my AC adaptor from the laptop while still labelling the shipment as containing my laptop. The tracking number I have refers only to the AC adaptor, which I have received. The laptop is somewhere in the ether.
