As many of you have already noticed, our webservers are down for emergency maintenance. We are continuing to work on them and anticipate bringing them back online in approximately 6 hours.
Control panel access is currently available, but will be restarted without notice until the entire server group is running, so please refrain form utilizing it unless absolutely necessary

finally
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.

Sure. But why not do it like most companies and only upgrade 1 server in the cluster at a time, leaving the rest of the cluster fully operational?

They're just tring to faze out these forums and others like it probably. If that's the case, they'll probably keep shutting it off more often and for longer periods of time until people stop bothering to come back, then they shut it down for good.
Or maybe they really are really doing maintenence.. but jesus gamespy wasn't this bad

A few of the less popular "planet" sites were down as well. It wasn't only this.

I agree. Then wipe these forums and put a sticky thread up to point people in the right direction.

When you get the "Error cannot connect to smtp host" or something like that upon submitting a post, it seems to post properly anyway.
