its linguistic logic actually. but it can be interpreted both ways. the month can be "this month" or "these 30 days".

No listen and learn, seriously. Alllow me to be even more pedantic. 'Before the month is over' MEANS BEFORE THE CURRENT MONTH YOU ARE IN ( I.E. MARCH) IS FINISHED.

It might not have been what YOU intended it to mean, but that's still what it means.

What you meant to say is ' before 'A' month is over'.
