Been playing all day. It's very good I think, although I there seems to be a little too much shooting bad guys and quick actions for my liking. I prefer the elements from the older TR games, you know the climging rocks and jumping type shit.
Also, has anyone tried playing with Next Gen settings on? Looks amazing but runs like a motherfucker.
I've been playing it all day too. Too much shooting indeed. Beautiful graphics though, better physics, faster load times and faster movement such as climbing up from ledges and speed shimmying. Here are some pervy screenshots I took.
Any game that can be beat in 6 hours is worthless. I could go to 5 movies AND buy snacks there for the price of the game, and still end up spending more time entertained.
This is why I love RPGs. :icon14:

Wel I've been playing the game almost non stop on hard setting since yesterday and I'm about a 1/4 to a 1/3 through it after a lot of hours of playing. Way more than 6 hours for me. There's plenty of secrets to find in the croft manor as well. The players finishing it in record time are rushing through it on easy setting and not really taking in the graphics which are gorgeous. I think it's a good game.
Well I'll defianetly get it since Tomb Raider is my favorite game.
Not sure if I'll get it for the xbox or the PC.
I remember when I got the first TR.
I bought it in the morning and played it I think almost 24 hours straight.
Because my roommate came home and he started to play it also. Then he went to bed and the next thing I knew, it was getting daylight outside.
Hmmm... On the first level, you have to go up a little water fall part, and then jump over a broken bridge wit hyour grapple (the first time in the level it tells you to jump then jump again to lock your graple on). Once you land, in the top left corner of the ruins, theres a secret statue... How the hell do i reach it?
