I told him that the two men he saw holding hands were sinners. I even told him about how the liberals were trying to force the homosexual agenda on America and redefine marriage, one of the most sacred institutions God ever devised.
Funny, because according to the Bible when Christ was around, the folks he hung around with were the 'sinners' - the prostitutes, the lepers, the destitute, etc. And I think he said something about 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' and something about not being as concerned with the speck in your neighbors eye as with the log in your own eye, and that people are basically commanded by Christ to love everyone, no matter who they are, unconditionally - even if you disagree with their behavior, which would lead to a civil discussion about things.
Ironically if most Christians really took the core treachings of CHRIST to heart, they might not give the established religion such a bad name.
