Completed the demo, the combat is a bit clunky, especially when using a joypad, but none the less i found it really good fun.

Reminded me of the first time I played Tomb Raider II, i reackon this will be a success.

Got the full version, next gen content is fine, can turn it on/off, but TBH it looks the same as the shot above:

Looks okay, might try it out. Used to play Tomb Raider crap loads, but now I just play FPS constantly... maybe I can force myself back :P

Sure, unlike you, I'm not that crazy about graphics anyway :p The PS2 version of GRAW got a scathing review from IGN, and even though I didn't read it, I'm sure it wasn't just because of the subpar graphics. I just hope TRL on the PS2 won't end up the same way.

Finally got around to finishing the demo. Not bad at all, although I'm not sure I like the new camera system. I really don't like how Lara turns around when you press the back button, so to see what's in front of her, you have to turn the camera around too. Besides, I just want to see Lara doing back and side flips, which look way much cooler anyway. Unfortunately, I couldn't make her do any of those flips in this demo. Is there a way? I hope they didn't remove them from her repertoire of moves.

In any case, I think I still prefer the old camera system that sticks to the back of Lara. I've always thought that the TR camera was the best of its kind (for example, I wish MGS had TR's camera), even though it could get problematic in tight places.

Btw, encountered a collision detection bug in the demo:

And here's what the lovely Ms. Croft looks like on my minimum-spec comp :p

I enjoyed the demo, the actual combat is a little weak - and I wish they'd introduce something other than pistols... some hand-to-hand would be nice. The way the game 'flows' I thought was pretty enjoyable.

I'll pick up the full game.

hmmm... After playing this a while through the single player game, its not half bad... I'll pick it up for 360 though as next gen mode rapes my pc, even though its not to old...

I can't invert my damn camera on the full version. I was able to in the demo but no luck with this "full demo".

I had a lot of trouble with the camera. Sometimes it went the way i want, then it just randomly seemed to invert itself... Not sure why...

Full version has a lot of unlocks, like extra costumes, weapons and stuff. Plus on 360 you will get achievments too, so thats worth it.

There was an option when i installed the game called "Game Shodow", this was before i hit the install button... WTF is that?

EDIT: NM, its a website that shows you when your game has updates available. Only needed for lazy dev teams :p

Played the demo a few more times, and I'm now getting used to the controls and the free camera system. I have to say it's not that bad after all, but I still miss the flips and the roll (that turns Lara 180) :(

Initially I had problems with the camera too until I realized that I inverted the wrong axis. I meant to invert the y-axis but inverted the x-axis instead :o! No more problems after making the correction :)

Other gripes I have with the demo are that Lara couldn't swim to the bottom of that water passageway and that they need to do a better job of displaying the subs.

Btw, are there any secrets in this demo?

Well, you do get to pick up (I think) the MP5 and the M16 later in the demo. I wish I could have some grenades to try out though.
