It's a Trek Alpha Aluminum 1500, and it fucking rocks. I'm hauling ass on the thing all around town. Good times. Ok, back to work.

It doesnt say "Discovery Channel" on the actual thing. That picture just has the team logo on it for sales and such I guess. Mine has a "SLR" logo which is for the type of aluminum used.

I havent weighed mine specifically, but when I get home I'll weigh it using my bathroom scale. It's somewhere around 20lbs from the feel.

Just interested in what type of shop you got it from, speciality bike, chain discount store, special order?

cool, if I had one like those then I'd probably start biking to the gym and stuff, but I'd be afraid to leave it outside...

It was a local bike shop that's been around for a few years. They're an authorized Trek dealer, so I felt comfortable with them. The bike was on a discount that the store does once a year, so I took advantage of that.

Nice bike. I regret buying a mountain bike instead of a road bike now considering I never take it off road.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
