i stopped watching about 2 months ago...has enough shit happened that it is worth watching again? felt like the story was going nowhere at all from one episode to the next for awhile.

Lost really is the best TV show ever.

I must agree. The writers seem to have a knack for knowing just when viewers are starting to get bored then they throw out some more juicy tidbits.
I knew that little fucker was one of the Others when he first appeared. It was after Said finished beating the fuck out of him and he looked at him all smug-like over Jack's shoulder.

And man, Peggy Bundy looks like a bucket of SHIT.

in episode s2e16 at around minute 36 they made a mistake in the translation, it said "You're husband" instead of "Your husband"
