What's the point of buying a mac and putting Windows XP on it? Why not just get a normal PC?

Because you can. Do you really need a point beyond that?

you've obviously never handled or felt the build quality of a macbook

What about the rumours that XP doesn't properly support the fans on the macbook?

If it was able to run Oblivion, I'd pick up a Macbook RIGHT NOW - but even without hacking the drivers, I doubt the x600 is anywhere near powerful enough.

oh, the uneducated.
macs have had the rightclick functionality since OS8.5 (or maybe even 8 :o ). connecting an 3 button usb mouse works as you would expect it to

On my powerbook, i barely even notice the one button. The one button thing is really a non-issue after you get used to it, even when coming from a PC background like I did.

Me too. But you'd notice it if you were using windows on a mac though :)

It's got an x1600, not the x600. I dunno what the difference is, but overall I'm guessing larger product model numbers mean better products.
