I recently upgraded, now on:

3200 AMD 64bit CPU
1024meg DDR ram
GeForce 6800 GT 256meg

Pretty sweet gaming

I GUESS THAT'S OK IF IT'S ALL YOU CAN AFFORD. I PREFER TO GET THAT LITTLE BIT EXTRA SO I WENT FOR AN ATI GEFORCE 4000 HYPERXTREME 1028 ULTRA O/C. I BURNED 6 DVDS, SPOKE TO SOMEONE ON ICQ, AND MADE MYSELF A SANDWHICH AND MY RIG DIDN'T EVEN FLINCH

Sweet.. What did you end up getting.

Down the road a bit, I plan on getting another PCIE Video Card to do SLI and another gig of matched pair PC4400 DDR Ram.

If you waited for the PC market to top out before you upgrade, you'd never do it. Besides, when the prices come down a bit I'll SLI another 256mb card and have 512mb of video RAM with 2 video processors.
