They should have never hyped that controller until right before release date. Now everybody thinks of it as some kind of magic wand.

It's a nice looking console - and it does look a little smaller than I expected. :icon14:

At least they said they plan to offer a GamCube-type controller for people who don't want to use that Retard-O-Wand.

Zelda, Metroid (including multiplayer), Mario, MarioKart, WiFi, still plays Gamecube games and downloadable access to the last 20 years of Nintendo games so I can play Contra on my television again. Yea I think I'll be buying it.

"The new console is approximately the size of three standard DVD cases stacked together"

It comes out of that stand too:

edit: Not to mention other companies are starting to make more games for Nintendo, like NFS, MoH, 007, etc. I think it's going to be a nice upswing period for Nintendo when the Rev. comes out.

The selling point for me is the price of the downloadable games.

Free = definitely
Cheap (50c per) = maybe
Expensive ($5+) = never

10 bux says the Revolution will at least have a much more stable and ultimately better release than the PS3

I vaguely remember it. I'd guess at it, but probably get it wrong. I'd recognize it if someone recited it to me, though. :smirk:

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, start ?

Hmm, doesn't seem right...

That controller would be awesome for my upcoming sequel to DDR 'Pimp-Slap Revolution'.
