I wonder how stuff like this is monitored in the US.
Probably some kind of harvesting bot roaming the internet and puting key-words together offering possible threats to an army of drones to further scrutinize?

Creepy.
I would bet they have bots that target specific blogging networks. What would be even scarier is if they have setup deals with sites like myspace and have a process injected into the actual server.
My cousin is actually in class with the dude who got in trouble!
to be fair, they did point out that only real threats are unprotected by the 1st amendment, while "political hyperbole" is protected. they overreacted though as a real assassin would be unlikely to publish details of their plans on a myspace blog ffs
Bush and his administration is an abomination to the entire western world, and thus should be shot in the street to do justice to all the first world nations.
Remember GKY posting about how you could send two emails to yourself (like from gmail to hotmail) and in the first email put the words "Bush" and "bomb" and maybe "whitehouse" in the subject and none of that in the second, and see that the first email gets there way behind the second one?
