I never watched this show before, but everyone used to be raving about it, and it's in it's 6th season now so I figure it must be good somehow. I'm finding that it's almost impossible to watch because everyone is disgustingly fat, though. It's not bad, it's just unwatchably disgusting watching everyone jiggle around.
I've not delved into the later seasons, but I would guess starting with the later stuff would be a bit like cutting into the first season of lost at the 10th episode.
I'm saying it's hard to watch because it makes me queezy. especially the woman with black hair who's visiting that guy in jail, she looks like a pug dog being eaten by a mound of cookie-dough.
You know, i'm amazed you people find the err, shall we say regularity in your lives to sit down and faithfully watch a teevee show every week...
I'd love to actually follow the Sopranos, or Battlestar Galactica or Lost - because i know it's good television. But goddamnit, missing one episode just fucks it up for you.
Waiting for the DVD's to come out takes forever... and they're far too expensive... i saw Lost season one for like 50 euro's last week, ridiculous :\
well you could pay 50 euro's once and watch it in higher quality without commercials and with a lot of extra's and your own leisure, or you can not buy it and keep wathcing it on tv for (24 eps, 1 ep a week = 24 weeks = 6 months, 6x12 euro subscription) 72 euro's, and deal with the effin commercials, keep your fridaynights free and hope it doesnt get delayed because of some lame iceskating championship :icon14:
Not really options for me, i'd probably forget what day / hour stuff is on the telly and miss episodes. As for keeping friday nights free... yeah, that's not gonna happen. And i can't justify buying all the shows on DVD, the prices are definately too unfriendly.
Yeah, so, err... i'll have to find out whether i can download stuff like this illegally or something.
yea well i just gave you the two options if you want to see the series. you make the choice yourself im just saying 50 pops isnt all that much if you consider the alternative
that's true. there is a point where watching it on teevee is cheaper. you still have to put of with the commercials, the low quality, the prologic sound and the weekly schedules though
