I really hope this shit will be classed as malware by all virus protection suites real soon, because that's what it is. The chances of that happening is unfortunately rather slim though.

because the easiest way to beat starforce is by disconnecting your cdrom drive. not the easiest task if you have a laptop

Galactic Civilizations II also has no copy protection, you don't even need to keep the disc in the player to play it.
