Malaysian GP and F1 in general

Post by Nightshade »

GGs to Fizzy and Fernando! Looks as though Renault are rock fucking solid and fast as hell straight out of the gate this year. Stark contrast to the Red Bull boys and the works Ferraris. Seems as though the switch to the V8 for this year is playing hell with some people.
Poor Nico Rosberg, Keke's son and my new favorite driver, his engine let go in a spectacular fashion rather early in the race. Too damn bad after his brilliant drive in Bahrain.
Lots of mechanical problems for lots of people today, but there were some fantastic pit stops and a lot of good overtaking. All in all a very good race. Ferrari seems resurgent this year, the cars go like raped apes when they're not broken. Felipe Massa's been impressive, and Schumi is...Schumi.
Oh, and how about damn Kimi Raikkonnen? Crashed out by Christian Klien, shit luck. And after his unbelievable 22nd to 3rd drive last week!

Looks to be a fantastic season, well done on the rules changes. ROLL MELBOURNE! GO NICO!

Yeh the season is going to be an amazing one! 4 or 5 drivers in with a very good chance of getting some good points this season. If Ferrari get all their shit int one sock then there is a very good chace they will be a major force again!

Also, i am interested in seeing Schumacher retire and bring VW into the F1 scene under his own team. Yes, there are rumours about it ;)
Where were you when the West was defeated?

and toyota :olo:

bigest buget in formula1 and the car is so shit this year they mind as well throw it out and start fresh.
all-in-all though, this is looking like a pretty nice year... i still miss the V10 sound, but the rule changes do seem to be working out ok this year.
i'm with you on the nico bandwagon, even though he looks like an ooompa-loompa he's got mad driving skills.
Last year i was loving his ownage of the gp2 races i saw. And his debut in bahrain was brilliant. More impressive than Kimi's run IMO. Considering he took an extra stop, including putting the car in the paddock, and still managed to finish in the points with fastest lap of the race... impressive indeed.
