try the crysis demo 'the project'. it's an extended cut scene from the followup to farcry, complete with its own renderer (i.e. it isn't just an AVI/WMV file)

or you could play with 3DMark

or get HL2 lost coast and max it out

For reference, I tested it with my rig (7800GT OC'd at 500MHz/1200MHz)

This is the full retail game btw (1.03)

1024x768, 4x AF, 4x AA:

FPS:

Minimum: 39
Average: 70
Maximum: 165

FPS Distribution:

0% below 25 FPS
4% between 25 and 40 FPS
96% above 40 FPS

1280x1024, 4x AF, 4x AA:

FPS:

Minimum: 30
Average: 48
Maximum: 105

FPS Distribution:

0% below 25 FPS
47% between 25 and 40 FPS
53% above 40 FPS
