Heh cool, around here the town isn't really big enough I know every area by heart so I've never really thought about getting one of those but that's pretty cool, could save me a couple minutes here and there when I'm driving around town.
Avoiding cops and speedtraps is the bomb though, especialy roadblocks I hate those. I always just pretend I'm on my way to McDonalds and to not let my girlfriend know about it. It get's a chuckle and they just let me go everytime but it's still a pain in the ass to say it straight when you're half in the bag.

i just caravan in between cars going making sure there's atleast a car ahead and behind me going just as fast when going 15+ over speed limit
have yet to get pulled over
on streets i really dont see a need to speed to much as its retarded to gun your car knowing there's always red lights so i usually go about 5 over the speed limit on streets even if a cop is around because they dont even give a hell if you are going 40 in a 35

I didn't know about the site itself. Not too bad, although I fear it is not updated as much as I'd like.
Right where I live LOL.Jurisdiction (city, county, etc.): Las Vegas, Nevada
Speed Trap Location: Tenaya Way
Nearest Reference Point: Gowan Avenue
GPS Coordinates: n/a
Time of Day: Any time of day
Level of Enforcement: High
Type of Enforcement: Radar

This street has driveways going directly onto the street, so the speed limit is 25 mph. I got a ticket for going only 5 miles over. Many people have gotten ticketed on this street.

Honestly Bit, can you picture the cop that just pulled you over buying either of those arguments? The speed limits apply to ALL lanes, and the cops don't assume SHIT about how fast you should go.
Yes, the speed limits are too low, but MANY American drivers are fucking retards. We need to adopt a Europeans style system of education and licensing, but it will be VERY difficult. Driving is so necessary for many that it would take a hell of an effort, but I think it's most definitely needed.

1) The left lane(s) are reserved for faster traffic
2) The speed limit is set with the understanding that people will typically go 5-10 mph over
You should re-read your drivers handbook.
1) True, but only to be faster than other traffic while still maintaining the speed limit. Meaning you can only speed UP TO the speed limit to pass
2)Not true, 5 mph over the speed limit is enough to warrant a ticket.
However, some states (like Nevada) have a common law in effect. Basically, if it is unsafe for you to drive the posted speed limit (because it is too fast or too slow compared to flow of traffic), you can also get a ticket.
